Cinema & Theater - Closure of the Syrian Cultural Week events in Baghdad

    Syrian Cultural Week Activities concluded in Palestine Hotel Hall in Baghdad , which held within celebration Baghdad Capital of Arab Culture (2013) , hosted by Ministry of Culture Under the Patronage , Dr.Saadon Al-Dulaimi , Minister of Culture .

     The closing ceremony was attended by the Head of Syrian Delegation , Minister of Culture Dr.Lubana Mashoh and Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities ,Dr.Baha Al-Myah and Parliament member kadhim Al-Shamiri as well as Syrian Delegation members and series of cultured and creative.

    Director General of Cultural Relations Directorate Aqil Al-Mandalawi delivered speech . He quoted the greetings of Minister of Culture to Minister of Syrian Culture and accompanying delegation ,as saying that the Syrian Cultural Week was distinguished , it means that the characters who came to Baghdad were very talented in addition to the cinematic shows were also distinguished and creative and win the admiration of people.

    He made it clear that our prospects was as it of having successful Week , like the previous Week, it is the same thing that will be achieved for  Egyptian Cultural Week in September and Lebanon in the next October in addition to Tunis which postponed its Cultural Week , it was scheduled in May ,they represent the basis of Arab culture and their attendance in Baghdad to promote the cultural diversity which is spreading in our Arab country , appreciating the big role of Syrian Delegation headed by Minister of Syrian Culture to succeed this Week , and the Mass Media who covered this activities since the first day and Ministry of Culture staff/ Cultural Relations Directorate whose they worked day and night for the sake of the success of this important cultural event.

    The ceremony witnessed Director General of Cultural Relations Directorate and a number of Iraqi characters presented commemorative gifts offered by Iraqi Ministry of Culture to the Head and Syrian Cultural delegation members whose they expressed their thanks for Iraqi attention expressing for their hospitality and the distinguished relation between the two countries .

    The closing ceremony also includes music show of Syrian . Al-Rubai Al-Watary Troup , composed of Raad Khalaf , Ayhab Abu Fakhar , Muhammad Firas , Basilyos Al-Awad and the feminist singer Miri Bytar.

    At the same time there is another music show of Syrian feminists Eastern Orchestra for music and song composed of Wafa Safar , Dimat Mozaini , Wahin Sirhan , Rihab Azir , Marah Kwifati, Nibal Dharifa , Mirfat Rafa , Linda Bitar , Rama Al- Barsha and the feminist singer Hamsa Munif.
